Leur projet de bateau a d\u00e9but\u00e9 en 1966 \u00e0 North Vancouver, en Colombie-Britannique, au Canada, sur la base des plans d'un architecte naval nomm\u00e9 Frank Carious. Ce Rum Runner a \u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e9quip\u00e9 en 1968 d'un tout nouveau moteur Chevrolet 427-L88 haute performance (avec des sp\u00e9cifications d'environ 550 chevaux d'usine), bien que le manuel du propri\u00e9taire d'Aero Marine indique une puissance de 475 chevaux d'usine. Ce moteur est tr\u00e8s rare et pr\u00e9cieux. C'est une b\u00eate !<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ce bateau est vraiment la d\u00e9finition d'un \u201cBARN FIND\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ce projet a d\u00e9but\u00e9 en 1966 et \u00e9tait achev\u00e9 \u00e0 environ 90% lorsqu'il a \u00e9t\u00e9 stock\u00e9 pendant pr\u00e8s de 20 ans en raison d'\u00e9v\u00e9nements familiaux intempestifs. Il est sorti de l'entrep\u00f4t pendant quelques mois pour subir un l\u00e9ger pon\u00e7age des boiseries, puis il est retourn\u00e9 \u00e0 l'entrep\u00f4t pendant pr\u00e8s de 30 ans.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Malheureusement, au cours des 20 derni\u00e8res ann\u00e9es, le toit de l'abri de voiture a laiss\u00e9 \u00e9chapper de la pluie et de la neige sur la b\u00e2che qui recouvrait le moteur. Le compartiment moteur s'est partiellement rempli d'eau et le moteur, la plomberie, la direction, l'\u00e9lectricit\u00e9 et tous les autres syst\u00e8mes du compartiment moteur ont \u00e9t\u00e9 fortement rouill\u00e9s. Le moteur ne compte encore qu'environ 3 heures de fonctionnement au ralenti dans le garage (\u00e0 la fin des ann\u00e9es 1960, dans les ann\u00e9es 1970 et au d\u00e9but des ann\u00e9es 1980). J'ai fait la promesse aux anciens propri\u00e9taires de restaurer totalement et d'achever leur r\u00eave inachev\u00e9, car ils sont octog\u00e9naires et n'ont pas la force physique de mener \u00e0 bien le projet. Je leur ai fait la promesse de terminer le bateau et de les emmener en balade.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>J'ai l'intention de r\u00e9utiliser chaque \u00e9crou et chaque boulon de ce moteur Chevy 427 - comme \u00e0 l'origine ! C'est pourquoi j'ai demand\u00e9 des conseils aux speed shops comme aux m\u00e9caniciens de quartier. Je ne peux pas me permettre de casser des boulons en deux ou d'endommager le filetage des vis, des boulons, des colliers, des bouchons ou des \u00e9crous.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>J'ai expliqu\u00e9 ma situation \u00e0 mon magasin local de pi\u00e8ces d\u00e9tach\u00e9es industrielles, qui m'a fortement conseill\u00e9 de pulv\u00e9riser tous les composants rouill\u00e9s avec un produit appel\u00e9 Deep Creep. Ils avaient vu des photos montrant \u00e0 quel point le moteur et d'autres syst\u00e8mes \u00e9taient rouill\u00e9s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>J'ai achet\u00e9 un bidon et j'ai fait un \u201ctest\u201d sur l'assemblage du carburateur. J'ai pulv\u00e9ris\u00e9 l'ensemble du carburateur et des boulons de montage avec Deep Creep une fois le matin et une fois le soir. J'ai fait cela pendant deux jours car je voulais \u00eatre s\u00fbr de ne pas casser ou arr\u00eater le filetage des \u00e9crous\/boulons.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image alignright size-full is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/staging-ca.seafoami.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/09\/Aero-Marine-Motor-1-web-2-768x1024-1.jpeg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-25399\" width=\"440\" height=\"587\" title=\"\" srcset=\"https:\/\/seafoami.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/09\/Aero-Marine-Motor-1-web-2-768x1024-1.jpeg 768w, https:\/\/seafoami.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/09\/Aero-Marine-Motor-1-web-2-768x1024-1-225x300.jpeg 225w, https:\/\/seafoami.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/09\/Aero-Marine-Motor-1-web-2-768x1024-1-480x640.jpeg 480w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 440px) 100vw, 440px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">Je dois dire que j'ai \u00e9t\u00e9 totalement choqu\u00e9 lorsque j'ai commenc\u00e9 \u00e0 d\u00e9monter le carburateur. La tringlerie et les boulons principaux se sont d\u00e9tach\u00e9s comme s'ils avaient \u00e9t\u00e9 pos\u00e9s il y a seulement quelques ann\u00e9es. Les pi\u00e8ces avaient encore l'air rouill\u00e9es, mais elles se sont d\u00e9tach\u00e9es facilement. Je n'ai jamais bross\u00e9 ou nettoy\u00e9 le carburateur de quelque mani\u00e8re que ce soit. Je l'ai seulement vaporis\u00e9, laiss\u00e9 reposer, puis retir\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le test de ce produit a \u00e9t\u00e9 r\u00e9ussi haut la main. Pour \u00eatre honn\u00eate, j'ai \u00e9t\u00e9 tent\u00e9 de prendre l'autre bo\u00eete bleue que beaucoup d'entre nous ont utilis\u00e9e dans le pass\u00e9. Je peux vous dire, par exp\u00e9rience et en toute libert\u00e9, qu'il faut utiliser UNIQUEMENT Deep Creep ! \u00c7a marche !<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Si vous reconstruisez ou restaurez des moteurs ou des composants fortement rouill\u00e9s, vous devez me faire confiance et faire confiance \u00e0 ce produit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>J'ai depuis pulv\u00e9ris\u00e9 tout mon moteur (y compris tous les autres composants, le gouvernail, la transmission, le carter d'embrayage, la transmission en V et l'arbre, les joints universels, le d\u00e9marreur, l'alternateur et bien d'autres choses encore). Ces derniers jours, j'ai d\u00e9mont\u00e9 le collecteur d'admission en aluminium, les couvercles de soupapes chrom\u00e9s, les culasses, ainsi que de nombreux colliers de serrage et raccords. Je suis tr\u00e8s heureux d'annoncer que toutes les pi\u00e8ces se sont d\u00e9tach\u00e9es sans se casser ni s'ab\u00eemer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Les pistons sont rouill\u00e9s et gripp\u00e9s. Il en va de m\u00eame pour les soupapes de la t\u00eate. Je les ai compl\u00e8tement satur\u00e9es de Deep Creep. J'ai \u00e9galement pulv\u00e9ris\u00e9 beaucoup de Deep Creep sur toutes les \u201ct\u00eates\u201d. Les soupapes et les ressorts sont satur\u00e9s de ce produit. Un conseil : soyez patient !  Laissez ce produit agir. Votre patience sera r\u00e9compens\u00e9e.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Une fois restaur\u00e9, ce moteur d'origine, dont les num\u00e9ros correspondent, aura une valeur consid\u00e9rable. Je confie la valeur future de ce moteur et de ses syst\u00e8mes \u00e0 ce produit. Jusqu'\u00e0 pr\u00e9sent, tout va bien. Je recommande ce produit \u00e0 toutes les personnes \u00e0 qui je parle de mon projet de restauration.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Je vous tiendrai au courant de mes progr\u00e8s si vous le souhaitez. Mes paroles sont honn\u00eates et mes photos sont 100% originales et intactes !
